Life is a circle, What goes around comes round, Sometimes in very different ways
I've got some words I'd like to share with you, Before settling in my grave
They are on a plaque that was given to her, One mother's day in the 70's
And it hung around for years and years before circling back to me
Live for today, live for the hour, Live every moment of every day
Cause you can't take it back, And you can't take it with you
So live every moment every day.
"The clock of life is wound but once, And no man has the power To tell just when the clock will stop at late or early hour Now is the only time you own, So live, love and toil with a will Place no faith in tomorrow for the clock may then be still"
Live for today, live for the hour
Live every moment of every day
Cause you can't take it back
And you can't take it with you
So live every moment every day.
